OffshoreProduction Technicians– Ref: APO Ad. 02/2026Location: Sfax-Platform offshore
| The purpose of the offshore production technician role is the safe, reliable and optimal operations of APO facilities.
The production technician reports to the senior production technicians and production supervisor.
The production technician direct reports are the production assistants.
Key Accountabilities

- Safely and efficiently Operate, Control and Monitor equipment, machinery and plant process on the platform.
- Perform emergency duties roles as assigned in the company emergency procedures such as and not limited to, coxswain HLO, HDA…
- Perform the First line Maintenance activities and carry out the safety equipment inspections and tests to meet the platform integrity required levels.
- Monitor the plant condition and report defects in order to support the asset integrity and safe operations.
- Ensure all other operations activities within the plant area are safely carried out in accordance with the company’s standards and procedures.
- Support implementation and improvement of safe operations procedures.
Qualifications, Job knowledge, skill and experience
- Baccalaureate completed + Successful minimum two years in the university with technical background (Senior technician diploma, ISET or Equivalent) with minimum 5 years’ experience in gas plants, refineries or chemical or power plant operations
OR
- Baccalaureate completed or Professional recognized diploma BTP with a minimum 10 years’ experience in gas plants, refineries or chemical or power plant operations
- Distributed control system DCS experience preferred.
- Knowledge on Fluid mechanics, thermodynamic, rotary machines, physic laws, chemical laws.
- Good Computer skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English French & Arabic Languages
- Collaboration / Team working skills.
- High ethical standards with integrity.
